What so special
about spoon?

Well, there are many types and many uses; spoons can be units of measure – teaspoons, tablespoons, some people collect souvenir spoons, and they can even be used as musical instruments and yari yari yari. But primarily, spoons represent access to the most basic nourishment – a warm cup of soup, a hearty bowl of oatmeal, and a simple dish of rice and beans, all consumed with a spoon. And as we know, too many neighbors and families don't always have food for their spoons. So let's not forget the serving spoons, the mother of all table utensils, which you might create in this class.

Historically, spoons have been found with ancient Egyptian artifacts, unearthed with treasures from the Neolithic civilizations, and found with relics used during the Shang Dynasty.
